Bear Mountain Residence
An existing home perched above the Hudson River with sweeping views of the Bear Mountain Bridge and Hudson Valley underwent an addition in order to take advantage of this spectacular view. What was an enclosed porch has now been expanded upon and fit with floor to ceiling windows allowing the interior space to become one with the exterior.

The house comes alive in a sequence of experiences as you move from the front door, through the kitchen and culminate in this new light filled space that feels as if it floats above the river. Beneath, a sculpture studio has been partially enclosed to allow for year-round work. The home truly feels as one with nature.
